With Naruto: Shinobi Striker allowing Naruto fans to create their own versions of Naruto characters, a lot of players will likely want to make shinobi and kunoichi that dish out awesome attacks in the middle of combat. However, as players would soon realize, the MMO also copies the franchise’s formula of diversifying a ninja’s arsenal across elements, techniques, and disciplines.

As such, a character’s approach to an offensive build is as diverse as any DPS character in other MMOs. However, for players who want to create an ideal Attack Build, just how should characters pursue a damage-oriented ninja character?
Combo-Stopper Offensive
Unlike other fighting games, combo attacks in Shinobi Striker can get nasty real quick if players are caught off-guard. Thankfully, players of this Naruto game on the offensive can rely on quite a nifty combo to stop an aggressive enemy on their tracks for a fierce counter. Key to this build is Uchiha Shuriken Jutsu: Oboroguruma, which is an all-ranger attack that effectively acts as a combo-denial. Its inputs can pierce through stun and stop Substitutions while buffing the user’s movements (first hit) and then stuns while stopping Ninjutsu (second hit).
A great pair with this is Imperial Wrath, a transformation attack that does a bash-knockdown combo for punishments. This build’s Ultimate is the Koto Amatsukami, a 15-second evasion boost for allies (first input) and then reverse enemy controls for confusion (second input). Its Substitution (Time Space Hop) is also notable, capable of giving players nigh-invincibility for a short while.

Planetary Death
A lot of iconic moves from the Naruto anime are accessible in the Shinobi Striker game via DLCs, making them rather expensive for users who want to save money. However, it doesn’t mean they’re at an immediate disadvantage, as there are builds they can acquire completely for free. Essential to this build is the Naruto technique Planetary Devastation, Pain’s signature move that instant-kills its target once it connects. Moreover, players need to compensate for the move being slow, as this leaves them wide open.

However, players don’t have to be completely defenseless while using this toolkit. They can use Leaf Rising Wind as a fierce combo opener, sending opponents up in the air and open for follow-ups. Likewise, the Clay Clone Jutsu is a decent knockdown defense for its explosion effect, while the Sharingan is a nifty attack escape.

Dance Howl Devastation
Contrary to other fighting games, Shinobi Striker features a lot of the iconic moves of Naruto characters - even the most overpowered ones. This build is a sample of such a phenomenon, highlighting the insanity of Minato Namikaze’s Rasen-Flash Super-Circle Dance Howl Stage Three, which in Shinobi Striker instant-kills its target as an Ultimate. The caveat here is that players have to precisely hit their target with this Ultimate’s first input for it to work, which can be tricky for mobile opponents.
Thankfully, the rest of the kit’s components ensure players can secure this devastating finisher. Firstly, Dynamic Entry is a decent gap-closer as it not only deals damage but also knocks enemies a great distance, giving more than enough room for the Dance Howl’s first kunai. Alternatively, the stuns from Oboroguruma could make a decent entry for the finisher when timed properly. Due to the Ultimate sending players a far distance after the instant-kill, Dance Howl easily allows players to get within range of their second target by the time it ends.

Optimized Insta-Kill
Building upon the sheer awesomeness of Minato’s Rasen-Flash Super-Circle Dance Howl Stage Three, this Shinobi Striker build further optimizes this Ultimate attack through secondary attack options. In this Naruto game, the Imperial Wrath is a decent two-stage bash-knockdown hit that sends enemies far enough for other combos or for proccing the first hit of the Dance Howl.
Key to this build are ways of eliminating the opponent’s chances of countering as well. For instance, the Time Space Hop grants players temporary invincibility after a neat teleport. Likewise, the Sharingan is a great close-quarters counter since its eight-second duration auto-grants a Substitution or cancels a two-stage attack upon hit. Moreover, even the Paper Bomb Kunai can become a pesky Ninja Tool against evading foes.

Stunning Aggression
Due to the sheer speed and mobility of characters in Naruto, it makes sense that winning in combat in games like Shinobi Striker also has to do with who can dish out attacks the fastest - especially when opponents are out of commission. Technicality-wise, some of the best Attack builds in the game rely on taking advantage of stuns to debilitate the enemy’s defense. In the anime, this makes use of the popular Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan instead of the Naruto eye technique called the Byakugan, which the likes of Hinata Hyuga possess. This kit, in particular, focuses on the stun potential of the Oboroguruma and the distracting potential of two-hit Koto Amatsukami.

In terms of combo, players are expected to get into the close-range with Dynamic Entry and secure their combos from there. Theoretically, Dynamic Entry and Oboroguruma can help players constantly reset their substitutions and potentially reset their combos mid-attack, allowing them to rake in more damage numbers. Opponents far into range can be surprised with High Speed Movement, allowing players to catch up to those who try to run away.

Kurama Supremacy
Fans of the series know that the Tailed-Beast Kurama has always been a game-changer for protagonist Naruto, especially since Kurama’s excess chakra gave him access to incredible durability and awesome techniques. While Kurama’s loss in Boruto leaves a lot of questions regarding Naruto’s combat strength, Shinobi Striker players can try their hand at Kurama’s strength with this kit’s Kurama Link Mode.
This build relies heavily upon the Naruto technique Kurama Link Mode as a finisher, as it provides incredible speed, attack, and even cooldown resets to the player and allies in range. A second tap reveals Kurama’s head with a long-ranged laser, capable of killing enemies who touch its head. In turn, the rest of this kit ensures players can activate KLM without hassle, courtesy of techniques such as stun-knockdowns of Imperial Wrath and Oboroguruma and the quick mobility of Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Speed Is Key
Sometimes, the best way to eliminate an enemy in any Naruto game is to hit them before they get to strike back, and this is a principle a lot of builds use in Shinobi Striker. In this particular setup, players rely on the Seven Heavenly Breaths to give them a stellar damage boost to ensure domination in combos. In turn, a lot of its supporting jutsus ensure players can navigate their way to the battlefield and strike opponents regardless of their position and defense through Naruto techniques.
Even Shadow Clone Explosion is a useful-enough Substitution to ensure combo connections with its knockdown feature. Likewise, the Sharingan is a decent escape against counters, while the Flying Raijin can give constant stat boosts to players and, at the same time, let them play around the battlefield.
